How to Fix: K100 Air Firmware Update Wireless Issues with 5.12.76
1. Download and prepare the Firmware zip files at the bottom of this article
2. Disconnect from the internet
3. Plug in the K100 RGB Air Keyboard via Wired USB
4. Open iCUE and navigate to the Device Settings for K100 RGB Air
5. IMPORTANT: Change Polling Rate to 1000hz
6. Click on "Check for Updates", it should display Update Failed
7. Click on the 3 dots to open the menu
8. Click on Browse for Firmware
9. Navigate to where you downloaded the Firmware files on your system.
10. Select "Firmware 1.zip" and click open.
11. Click On "Update Now" and wait until the update finishes.
12. Give a moment for the keyboard to refresh and it should show 5.9.68
13. Click “Close”
14. Click “Check for Updates”
15. Click the 3 dots to open the menu
16. Click on “Browse for Firmware”
17. Navigate to the location with the firmware zips
18. Select “Firmware 2.zip” and click open
19. Click on “Update Now” and wait until the update finishes
20. Give a moment for the keyboard to refresh and it should continue to show 5.9.68
21. Click “Close”
22. Click “Check for Updates”
23. Click on the 3 dots to open the menu
24. Click on Browse for Firmware
25. Navigate to the location with the firmware zips
26. Select “Firmware 3.zip” and click open
27. Click on “Update Now” and wait until the update finishes
28. Give a moment for the keyboard to refresh and it should show 5.12.76
29. Internet can be reconnected, the keyboard can be unplugged, and wireless functionality should
be restored.
