Customer Service: Find a Serial Number or Lot Code
Serial numbers and lot codes contain information about the product that Corsair can use to provide support. They are often preceded by “S/N:” or sometimes “Lot Number” and frequently appear next to a bar code. They are usually the longest sequence of numbers you will see on the label.
Newer products may have a new type of serial number that starts with a letter and has a string of letters and numbers. This serial number should be 14 characters long.
Corsair packaging typically has the serial number on it. If the packaging is unavailable or does not include the number, many Corsair products have the number printed on stickers in the following places:
HID Products & Furniture
- Mice: Label taped around the cable or, for wireless, on the mouse's underside. The part number should begin with "CH-".
- Mousepads: The label should be under where the USB cable plugs in for RGB mousepads. The part number should begin with "CH-."
- Keyboards: Underside of the keyboard, near cable attach point. The part number should begin with "CH-".
- Headsets: The part number should begin with "CA-"
- The Virtuoso and HS80 series headsets have the sticker on the bottom of the right earcup; you need to remove the earcup to see the sticker. To do this, twist the earcup clockwise to remove it, then twist the earcup counterclockwise to reattach it.
- The HS55 and HS65 series headsets have stickers inside the left earcup; you need to remove the earcup to see it.
- The Virtuoso Pro's Serial Number and QR-Code are underneath the headband cushion. To remove them, compress the headband slightly and pull the cushion downwards with both hands.
- The other HS series headsets and the Void Elite have the sticker on the inner side of the headband near the left ear cup. You may need to extend the ear cups down to see the sticker fully.
- If you still can't find it, some older HS series headsets have the sticker under the left ear cup; you must use a flat, plastic pry tool to remove the ear pad.
- Gaming chairs: On the bottom of the seat of the chair. The part number should begin with "CF-"
- Desks: Underneath the tabletop. The part number should begin with "CF-"
- Monitors: On the Back of the Display or the Stand.
DIY Products & Pre-Built Systems
- Corsair Systems: On the bottom, the part number should begin with "CS-"
- Cases: On the rear panel, near the PSU slot, or the top of the back panel. The part number will look like a barcode with numbers below it.
- AIO Coolers: Side of the radiator. The part number should begin with "CW-"
- Fans: The Serial Number is on the outer side of the Frame. The part numbers are on a circular sticker in the center of the fan's back.
- Solid state drives: Drive label front or back. The part number should begin with "CSSD-".
- Memory modules: The side of the module. The part number should begin with "CM," but this isn't always the case.
- PSU: Side or top of unit. The part number should begin with "CP-"
