If your HS75 XB Wireless Headset is experiencing the following issues, your headset might have frozen:
- No audio output from the headset
- Remains on when you try to power it off
- White LED remains on
- Emits a buzzing sound
Fixing the freezing issue
To fix this issue, let the battery fully drain and then recharge the headset afterwards. Your headset should work normally once it is powered on again.
Updating headset firmware
After your headset is working properly again, you can avoid this issue occurring again by updating the headset firmware to version 3.0.3 via iCUE, which you can find here. Make sure iCUE is on version 3.38.61, otherwise you will not be able to update the headset firmware.
If you have updated iCUE to version 4.9 or later, you will need to revert iCUE back to version 3.38.61 in order to update the headset firmware. We are working on a way to apply this update on iCUE version 4 and will update this article once that is done.
