How To: Fix LCD Flickering issues on your AIO or Custom Cooling Device
This article is for those that are experiencing problems with their LCD flickering on their AIO or Custom Cooling Device.
If you are currently having flickering issues, please follow these steps below to resolve the issue:
- Shut down the system the device is installed in. Be sure to not select reboot/restart here!
- Once the system is fully shut down, unplug the system from power from the wall outlet.
- Hold down the power button on the system for ~30 seconds or so to remove any residual power from the system.
- Plug the system back in and boot into the OS.
This should resolve any screen flickering you are experiencing on the LCD. To prevent LCD screen flickering; a full, complete shutdown of the system is recommended at least every 48 hours of system uptime.
If you plan to keep your system on for longer than this or if you leave your system on 24/7, you can follow the steps above to resolve any LCD screen flickering you may experience.
