Serial numbers and lot codes contain information about the product that Corsair can use to provide support. They are often preceded by “S/N:” or sometimes “Lot Number” and frequently appear next to a bar code. They are usually the longest sequence of numbers you will see on the label.
Corsair packaging typically has the serial number on it. If the packaging is unavailable or does not include the number, many Corsair products have the number printed on stickers in the following places:
- Corsair system: On the bottom; the part number should begin with CS
- Headsets: Inner side of headband, near left earcup; requires extension of headband
- The HS80 and Virtuoso headsets have the sticker on the bottom of the right earcup; you need to remove the earcup in order to see the sticker
- The other HS series headsets and the Void Elite have the sticker on the inner side of the headband, near the left earcup
- Cases: Rear panel, often near PSU slot
- Cooling: Side of radiator
- Fans: Top edge
- The product code of fans can be found on a sticker on the back of the fan
- Solid state drives: Drive label front or back
- Mice: Label taped around the cable or, for wireless, on underside of mouse
- Keyboard: Underside of keyboard, near cable attach point
- Memory module: Side of module
- PSU: Side or top of unit
- Speakers: Back of subwoofer
- Gaming chair: On the bottom of the seat of the chair
