This software was formerly known as the Elgato Thunderbolt Utility. It will work for both Corsair and Elgato branded Thunderbolt docks.
With the Corsair Thunderbolt Dock Utility, conveniently eject all storage devices at once and immediately see when it's safe to disconnect your Corsair Thunderbolt Dock.
Corsair Thunderbolt Dock Utility can be accessed from the menu bar - its icon is a lowercase "e".
Corsair Thunderbolt Dock Utility is only for macOS.
Unplugging Corsair Thunderbolt Dock
Depending on your Corsair Thunderbolt Dock connection status, Corsair Thunderbolt Dock Utility will show one of three options at the top:
1) Unplug Corsair Thunderbolt Dock
Select this option to eject all drives connected to Corsair Thunderbolt Dock.
2) Corsair Thunderbolt Dock is safe to unplug
This message indicates that all drives connected to Corsair Thunderbolt Dock have been successfully unmounted. You can now safely disconnect your Thunderbolt cable.
3) No Corsair Thunderbolt Dock attached
This appears when no Corsair Thunderbolt Dock has been detected.
Corsair Thunderbolt Dock Utility and High-Power USB Support
Installing Corsair Thunderbolt Dock Utility simultaneously enables high-power USB support for Corsair Thunderbolt Dock, providing faster charging of your iPhone or iPad, support for the Apple SuperDrive, and more.
High-power USB support automatically provides up to 1.5 A on each USB 3.0 port, depending on how much current a connected device requests. It does not require Corsair Thunderbolt Dock Utility to be launched and also works if your Mac is in Sleep mode.
