How to: Remove the battery from your a1600 Corsair Voyager Laptop

To access the internals, please read the following article first:

To remove the battery, you will need to remove four screws first (highlighted below) and disengage the connector to the motherboard

Tools required: PH1 screwdriver

After removing the screws, moving up the highlighted flap will reveal the connector.  To fully free the battery, this connector has to be grabbed by its tab and pulled up toward you

After accessing the connector, grab the plastic tab with your thumb and index fingers and pull up toward you with slight force

Note: To reinstall the battery, make sure you press down on the connector, and not slide in from the bottom
