RAM: What to do if your Z690 motherboard does not boot with a 13th Generation Intel CPU

Although the Z690 platform is compatible with 13th Generation Intel CPUs, you will need to update your BIOS to the latest revision to add support for these processors, otherwise, your motherboard would show a DRAM error and not boot.

Most motherboard manufacturers now offer a way to update the BIOS without a CPU installed.  Please refer to your motherboard manual for steps on how to perform the update.
