TBT200:Does TBT200 support multiple displays on Mac?
The M1/M2 Pro/Max/Ultra SOCs support up to 2 display streams per Thunderbolt port. Each SOC allows a maximum number of displays based on its specifications. For instance, if you connect 2 TBT200 to an M2 PRO, you can have a total of 4 streams, typically supporting 4 displays (though daisychaining via Thunderbolt or DisplayPort may be exceptions).
On M1/M2 Pro/Max/Ultra SOCs, the TBT200 supports 2 independent displays through its Thunderbolt downstream ports. However, it operates on a first-come-first-serve basis. If you connect 3 displays to the 3 Thunderbolt downstream ports of TBT200, the last connected one will not function.
If you encounter issues with TBT200 on M1/M2 Pro/Max/Ultra SOCs, where it provides only 1 display, please contact support and provide them with your Mac model, MacOS version, and details of all connected peripherals (USB, HDMI) to get assistance with your inquiry.
