Follow these steps to resolve:
Install and launch the Thunderbolt Dock utility tool. Disconnect the dock and reconnect it after a 10-second pause. Due to recent changes in macOS, the utility cannot operate during the boot process and must instead detect when the dock is connected once the system has fully booted.
