All Corsair headsets currently compatible with consoles connect via a 3.5mm audio jack to the audio port located on the controller.
*Please Note: The Nintendo Switch’s 3.5mm audio port does not support a microphone.
For Playstation 4
If you cannot hear game sound:
- Go into your Settings
- Select Devices.
- Select Audio Devices.
- For the input and output devices select the Wired Headset.
- Go back to Audio Devices and select the Output to Headphones
- Make sure that option is set to All Audio
If sound is coming from TV/Speakers:
- Press and hold the Playstation button on the controller.
- Select Sound and Screen.
- Select Audio Output Settings.
- Select Output to Headphones.
- Select All Audio.
For Xbox One
*Please Note: Some Xbox One controllers have a 2.5mm audio port instead of a 3.5mm port. If your headset’s connector does not fit into this port, you will need to purchase an Xbox One Stereo Headset Adapter.
If you cannot hear game sounds:
- Press the Xbox button to open the guide.
- Select Settings.
- Select All Settings.
- Select Display & sound.
- Select Volume.
- Select Chat Mixer.
- Select Do Nothing.
If sound is coming from TV/Speakers:
- Press the Xbox button to open the guide.
- Select Settings.
- Select All Settings.
- Select Display & sound.
- Select Volume.
- Select Party Chat Output.
- Select Headset.
