XENEON Monitor: Troubleshooting Guide for CORSAIR XENEON Monitors
If you encounter any problems with your CORSAIR XENEON monitor, don't worry! Troubleshooting solutions may differ based on the particular issue you are facing. Below, we've compiled some general troubleshooting steps to help you resolve common monitor-related issues.
You may see the term "OSD" in some of these steps. This is short for "On Screen Display" and can be accessed using the physical buttons on your monitor. Please consult the Quick Start Guide for your particular monitor to find where these buttons are. Alternatively, you can control OSD settings in iCUE on supported XENEON monitors.
XENEON Power LED is not turning ON
- Ensure that the adapter and power cord are securely connected to the monitor.
- If the screen appears to work despite the power LED being off, navigate to MENU > Other Setting > LED and ensure it's turned ON.
The power LED light is on but there is no screen image
- Check if your operating system is in sleep or power-save mode. Move the mouse or press a key to wake it up.
- Verify that the signal cable (HDMI/DisplayPort/Type-C) is firmly connected to both the monitor and the computer's input port (graphics card). Unplug and re-plug the cable to ensure it's properly seated.
- Try using a different signal cable for a cross-test.
- Access MENU > Input Source and switch to the correct source if necessary.
- Connect the monitor to another computer (PC/Notebook) to see if it works correctly.
- Factory Reset the monitor by accessing OSD, going to System Setting, and selecting Factory Reset.
The screen image is too light or dark
- Open the OSD Menu.
- Navigate to Picture and adjust the Brightness setting to make the image lighter or darker.
Screen image flickers
- Test with a different cable (HDMI, DisplayPort, etc.) to rule out a faulty cable causing the flickering issue.
- Ensure that the monitor is connected to a stable power source, as inconsistent power supply can lead to flickering.
- Check and adjust the refresh rate and resolution settings in your computer's display settings.
- Update your graphics drivers to the latest version from your graphics card manufacturer's website.
- If your monitor supports it, try lowering the refresh rate through the OSD settings.
The screen image has color defects (white does not look white)
- Access the OSD Menu and go to Picture.
- Switch between Color Temperature options: Cool, Normal, or Warm.
- If necessary, manually adjust the R/G/B settings under Customization to achieve a whiter color.
- As a last resort, perform a Factory Reset by accessing OSD, going to System Setting, and selecting Factory Reset.
Monitor has a Dead Pixel
- If you purchased your CORSAIR monitor from Corsair.com or an authorized reseller, you may be covered by the Panel Quality Guaranty.
- Check Corsair's monitor dead pixel policy to determine if your monitor qualifies for an exchange during the hardware warranty period.
