Keyboard: Why does iCUE not detect my K65 PLUS Keyboard?
Certain models of the CORSAIR K65 PLUS keyboard are not compatible with the CORSAIR iCUE software. This incompatibility issue pertains specifically to keyboards with the following SKUs:
- CH-91D401L
- CH-91D401L-CN
- CH-91D421L-NA
- CH-91D411L-NA
- CH-91D401L-CN/MC
These SKUs represent versions of the K65 PLUS keyboard that were distributed in specific Asian markets and were not designed with iCUE software support in mind.
To determine if your keyboard is a unit without iCUE compatibility please check the SKU on your device. The SKU can typically be found on the product packaging or on a label on the underside of the keyboard itself, often near the serial number.
For customers experiencing detection issues with K65 PLUS keyboards that do not fall under the specified SKUs, please consider the following troubleshooting steps:
USB Connection:
- Ensure that the keyboard is connected directly to a USB port on your computer, not through a USB hub.
- Try connecting the keyboard to different USB ports to exclude the possibility of a faulty USB port.
Keyboard Reset:
-
Press and hold FN + Backlight button (G) for 5 seconds. Multi-purpose indicator (F) will blink RED for 5 seconds once reset is activated. The keyboard will turn on with factory defaults.
iCUE Software Reinstallation:
- Uninstall the iCUE software via the Control Panel (full instructions can be found here)
- Download the latest version of the iCUE software from our official CORSAIR website.
- Install the latest iCUE version and restart your computer to check if the issue has been resolved.
