Keyboard: K100 RGB Accidental Macro Recording
The CORSAIR K100 RGB keyboard offers advanced features, including customizable macro recordings. Occasionally, users may accidentally enable macro recording, leading to unexpected behaviors. This article addresses how to recognize and resolve this issue.
How to Identify when Macro Recording is on
When the macro recording mode is activated on the K100 RGB, the Macro Recording LED indicator will blink white. This indicates that the keyboard is in recording mode and any keystrokes will be recorded as a macro.
How to remove existing recordings from the K100 RGB's onboard Memory
If you have accidentally saved an unwanted Macro Recording to your keyboard, you can simply reset the keyboard to wipe any saved onboard memory. To reset your K100 RGB please follow these steps:
1: Unplug the keyboard.
2: Press the Esc key
3: While holding the Esc key, plug in the keyboard.
4: Hold the key down for 10 seconds.
5: Release the key.
How to disable Macro Recording
To prevent accidental activation of Macro Recording and disable it, if you do not plan to use this feature, follow these steps:
1: Open the iCUE program, if you do not have ICUE, visit CORSAIR’s download page to download the latest version of iCUE.
2: Once open, click on your K100 RGB keyboard then go into the Control Wheel option.
3: You can disable and turn off Macro Recording
