CORSAIR PCIe 5.0 M.2 SSDs on Intel 800-series motherboards
If your CORSAIR PCIe 5.0 SSD is experiencing lower max. speeds than expected while using an Intel 800-series motherboard then this is a commonly observed issue.
For users with an Intel 800-series motherboard that features more than one PCIe 5.0 M.2 slots, CORSAIR recommends using a secondary PCIe 5.0 M.2 slot (usually the first M.2 slot occupies PCIe 5.0 lanes from the CPU where secondary slots occupy PCIe 5.0 lanes from the chipset). Please refer to your motherboard documentation for details. Based on tests ran in CORSAIR Labs, the secondary PCIe 5.0 M.2 slots can deliver higher speeds than PCIe 5.0 slots directly attached to the CPU.
