If you would like to permanently erase all data from your Corsair SSD and help ensure that it cannot be recovered, please follow the steps below:
- Download and install Corsair SSD Toolbox 2.0 Preview from the Corsair Downloads page: https://www.corsair.com/us/en/downloads
- On the Downloads page, open the Category drop-down menu and select Storage. The Corsair SSD Toolbox 2.0 Preview utility should then appear in the list of available downloads.
- After installing the software, launch Corsair SSD Toolbox and navigate to Secure Erase.
- Select the SSD you wish to erase and click Start.
Important: Secure Erase permanently removes all data from the drive by writing zeros to all physical storage locations. Once complete, the data cannot be recovered.
Warning: This process will erase all data on the selected drive. Ensure that any important files have been backed up before proceeding.
Note: Secure erase operations will contribute to SSD wear and will impact the overall lifespan of the drive.
