How to: Fix K55 issue where macros output random actions

If your K55 keyboard has an issue where your macros output random actions, try updating the firmware in iCUE and see if it fixes the issue.

If your old macros still has the random output issue, you may to do an additional step to fix the issue: manually reset the keyboard EEPROM.

NOTE: If you create a new macro after updating the keyboard firmware, the new macro should not have the random output issue. However, resetting the keyboard EEPROM will delete your previously recorded macros.

To reset the EEPROM:

1. Close iCUE if it is still running.
2. Plug your K55 into your PC system.
3. Hold the FN key and F4 key for 5 seconds. 
4. The keyboard LEDs should blink twice to signal the reset is complete.
