How to check SSD life
You can use our Corsair SSD Toolbox software to check the life of your SSD. You can download Toolbox by going to our Download page and searching for Corsair SSD Toolbox.
NOTE: Sometimes there may be a discrepancy in the reported GB value and the raw value. If you notice such a discrepancy, use the raw value to determine your SSD life.
To check your SSD life:
- Open Corsair SSD Toolbox.
- Select the SSD you want to check.
- Click S.M.A.R.T Status on the left menu.
- Look at the Data Units Written raw value and compare it to the Maximum Sectors Written value in the SSD endurance ratings table below.
If you want to request an RMA for a Corsair SSD, make sure you take a screenshot of the Corsair SSD Toolbox status pane showing the raw value of Data Units Written and attach that screenshot to your help ticket.
