How to: Assign key remaps and macros to your keyboards
You can use iCUE to create various key remaps and macros, then assign those remaps and macros to your CORSAIR keyboard.
NOTE: Make sure that you update iCUE and your keyboard to their latest versions to avoid complications.
To assign key Remaps in iCUE v5.14:
In this example these steps will show how to set a G Key as "CTRL + C" to copy.
- Open iCUE.
- On your home screen select your Keyboard.
- In the left side menu select Key Assignments.
- Under Assignments select the + button to add a new layer.
- In this example we will select Keystroke as the Assignment Type.
- Under Key select the key you would like this keystroke assigned to. In this case I will be using key G1.
- In the Remap: Keystroke you may type the keys you want to set this key to. In this example I selected CTRL + C in order to copy.

To assign key Macros in iCUE v5.14:
In this example we will cover how to set up a macro. In this example I will set my to type "GG Well Played" to use at the end of my game.
- Open iCUE.
- On your home screen select your Keyboard.
- In the left side menu select Key Assignments.
- Under Assignments select the + button to add a new layer.
- In this example we will select Macro as the Assignment Type.
- Under Key select the key you would like this keystroke assigned to. In this case I will be using key G2.
- Once you are ready to record select the red dot under Macro while in the Recording tab. This will begin the recording. In this example I typed my macro "GG Well Played"

To assign key remaps and macros:
- Make sure your keyboard is connected to your system.
- Open iCUE.
- Hover your mouse cursor over your keyboard in the home screen and click Key Assignments.
- Click the + button in the Assignments section.
- In the Assignment Type section, select the action you want to assign.
- If you select Macro, you can record your macro using the Macro section by clicking the record button, inputting the actions you want the macro to do, and then clicking the record button again to finish recording.
- If you select Macro, you can record your macro using the Macro section by clicking the record button, inputting the actions you want the macro to do, and then clicking the record button again to finish recording.
- In the Key section, select the keyboard key that you want to assign the remap or macro to.
After you have created a key assignment, you can click the menu button next to it in the Assignments section to copy it, save it to your Library, rename it, or delete it.
