Nanoleaf: iCUE NanoLeaf Integration FAQ
Q: I am having trouble pairing my Nanoleaf device to iCUE through the integrations page. The device doesn't appear and I am unable to manually pair it. What can I do to resolve this issue?
A: When using only an Ethernet cable to connect your system, the Nanoleaf device on the same network may not be detected. To resolve this, you can enable the Wi-Fi feature on your system and connect to a wireless network while keeping the Ethernet cable plugged in. Once you have done so, try pairing the device again. At this point, iCUE should detect the device, allowing you to pair and control it within the iCUE software.
Q: Which Wi-Fi Frequency do Nanoleaf devices use?
A: Wi-Fi enabled Nanoleaf devices support the 2.4 Ghz Wi-FI Frequency.
Q: Can I expand my Nanoleaf setup? If so, how many panels can I use with a single controller?
A: Yes! You can expand your existing Nanoleaf setup with expansion packs. With one controller you can have up to 500 Shape panels, 500 Canvas squares, or 30 Light Panels in your setup. You may need to add an additional Power Supply unit as you add a significant number of additional panels.
Q: Does the Nanoleaf integration work with the murals feature in iCUE?
A: Yes! The Nanoleaf integration is compatible with the murals feature in iCUE, giving you access to a plethora of intuitive effects to choose from that you can use to transform your world.
Q: My Nanoleaf device is no longer lighting up when actively being controlled by iCUE. How can I fix this?
A: Make sure that both iCUE and your operating system are fully up-to-date. If you do end updating either item, make sure to restart your PC and everything should work as intended.
Q: Can I control the brightness of my Nanoleaf device in iCUE?
A: Yes! There is a brightness slider in the "Device Settings" tab.
Q: Can I swap between iCUE and Nanoleaf app control for my Nanoleaf Devices?
A: Yes, if you enable a preset on the Nanoleaf app while the device is in use by iCUE, the app will take control of the device. If you want to revert control to iCUE can then select the, "Revert Control to iCUE," button, that appears when you select the device in iCUE to allow iCUE to control to the Nanoleaf Device.
Q: Why are my Nanoleaf devices are not displaying my Lighting Link layer after pairing with iCUE?
