iCUE: How to: Fix device detection issues after an iCUE update

If you run into a device detection issue when updating from one version of iCUE to another we have some steps to help you troubleshoot.

Please note that these troubleshooting steps only apply to detection issues after updating from one version of iCUE to another.

Fixing device detection issues

The first thing to do is double-check and make sure your device is properly connected to your PC system directly through a USB port. Make sure it is not connected through a USB hub/switch or a pass-through.

If the device is properly connected but you still experience issues:

  1. Type Apps & features in Windows search and select it.
  2. Find CORSAIR iCUE 5 Software and select the 3 dots.
  3. Click Modify.
Installed apps list with modify option highlighted.

  4. iCUE will then repair automatically.

If the above steps do not solve the device detection issues, perform a clean uninstall of iCUE and then reinstall it. You can find instructions on how to do so in this article.

If your device still do not show up in iCUE after performing the steps above, contact Customer Support and we will provide further assistance.
