iCUE: Gigabyte Motherboard Integration

As of the iCUE 5.16.75 update, iCUE will be capable of detecting and controlling select Gigabyte motherboards using the new Gigabyte plug-in. When a supported Gigabyte motherboard is detected, it will appear on the Home Page with an image of the Gigabyte motherboard.

The device name will be displayed as <Gigabyte Motherboard Name>, where <Motherboard Name> will be replaced by the official name of the board, as provided by the plug-in that iCUE uses for motherboard detection.

When the motherboard is selected there will be the following tabs available:

  • Lighting Effects
  • Device Settings (Only plugin version will be reported).

Lighting Effects

Gigabyte motherboards will support the same list of Lighting Effects as ASUS motherboards. The list of Lighting Effects supported is as follows:

  • Watercolor Spectrum
  • Color Pulse
  • Color Shift
  • Color Warp
  • Color Wave
  • Marquee
  • Rain
  • Rainbow
  • Rainbow Wave
  • Sequential
  • Strobing
  • Temperature 
  • Visor
  • Custom
    • Gradient
    • Ripple
    • Solid
    • Static Color
    • Wave

Download iCUE: https://www.corsair.com/us/en/s/downloads

With iCUE open, download the Gigabyte Plugin:

Download the latest version of Gigabyte Control Center: https://www.gigabyte.com/Consumer/Software/GIGABYTE-Control-Center/global/

Ensure all the driver/software updates are installed including RGB Fusion:

Restart your system and open iCUE:

Please note that RGB Fusion is a prerequisite and must show on Gigabyte Control Center to allow iCUE detection. RGB Fusion MUST show that it can control lighting zones, if it does not iCUE will not detect the motherboard.
