CORSAIR ONE: Red Blinking on Startup
If you are experiencing a red blinking light during the boot-up process of your CORSAIR ONE prebuilt system, this article aims to provide you with an understanding of this behavior and address any concerns you may have.
The red blinking light observed when booting up your CORSAIR ONE is normal and does not indicate a faulty system or actual overheating issue. Instead, it is a behavior to safeguard your system and its components.
Upon a cold boot, where the system has been powered off for an extended period, your CORSAIR ONE initiates a thermal self-check. This self-check is a precautionary measure to ensure the system starts at an optimal temperature and avoid any potential damage from residual heat.
During the thermal self-check, the system temporarily sets the fans to their maximum speed (100%) to cool down the components, if necessary. Once the system cools down the fans return to their normal operation, and the red blinking light will stop. Your CORSAIR ONE is now ready for regular use.
When to Seek Support: While the red blinking light during boot-up is a normal occurrence, if it persists after the system has fully booted into Windows, it may indicate another issue. Although rare, if this happens, please reach out to our dedicated Technical Support team for further assistance.
