Systems: Corsair One i500 Image Recovery Tool Instruction
This article will highlight the steps to creating an image recovery for your system.
1. Prepare the items below to create the Recovery tool.
- One computer with Windows OS.
- One 32GB USB stick key in NTFS format.
2. Download the corresponding system Recovery ISO file from the Corsair download page.
- Windows 11 Home: C1_i500_Recovery ISO_W11Home_23H2__20240419.iso
- Windows 11 Pro: C1_i500_Recovery ISO_W11Pro_23H2__20240419.iso
3. Download and install 7-Zip on windows computer.
4. Use 7-Zip APP for extracting image file into the USB stick key you prepared (see below).
- Press the mouse's right button on the .iso file you downloaded and select “Show more options”.
- Select ” 7 Zip” => “Extract files”.
5. Extract the files to the correct location by following the steps.
- Select USB stick key root directory as desired extracted location (Ex, D:\).
- Uncheck the folder name.
- press “OK” for extracting files to USB root directory.
6. After extracting the file completely, plug the USB stick key into the usb3.2 port on Corsair One i500 rear side.
7. Power on Corsair One i500 and Press F11 to go to Boot Option
8. Select the USB sticky key from the Boot list.
9. Corsair One i500 entering to Recovery Environment.
*Warning*: Before you type y and press Enter, please make sure you’ve backup your data from C:\ partition of Corsair One or your data will be erased during recovery process.
10. Type y and press Enter to start the recovery process (or type N and press Enter to exit Recovery Environment).
11. The recovery process has started and waiting for the Recovery Process to be completed.
12. After the system restarts, your Corsair One i500 OS goes back to the factory reset OOBE page.
