iCUE:Set Up Corsair RGB Fans in iCUE

Only one fan or lighting strip will illuminate when initially connected to your Commander Pro or Lighting Node Pro.  You will need to set them up in iCUE in order for all fans to illuminate.

NOTE: If you connect 6 QL fans and 4 RGB LED strips to the Lighting Node Pro, you will only be able to select and customize the fans in iCUE.

 

 

For iCUE version 5 or newer

  1. Open the iCUE software.
  2. Select your controller on the Home screen.

  3. Select 4-Pin Lighting Effects for setting up fans or 3-Pin Lighting Effects for other RGB strips. 
  4. Select Lighting Setup
  5. Either let iCUE automatically detect your Corsair fans, or manually select the appropriate product.

  6. Drag and drop the fans in the preview image in the correct order of your case setup, then change the orientation to match the lighting on your fans.

  7. To assign lighting to your fans or strips, select the fan series you want to edit on the left menu.

  8. Click the symbol in the Lighting Layers section on the bottom left.
  9. Use the options to customize the lighting effects as you wish.
    • NOTE: If you select a LIGHTING LINK effect in Lighting Type, it will apply the lighting effect to all iCUE-compatible devices currently connected to your PC.

For iCUE Link Fan Setup:

  1. Open the iCUE software.
  2. Select your iCUE System Link Hub on the Home screen.

  3. Use the "Run Wizard" button on the Lighting Setup Page.
  4. iCUE will prompt for a restart to recognize the fans.
  5. After restart, verify the fans are detected on the iCUE Home Screen.

For iCUE version 3 or older

  1. Open the iCUE software.
  2. Select your Commander Pro or Lighting Node Pro on the Home screen. Corsair device management interface screenshot.

  3. Select "Lighting Setup" on the left.Corsair lighting setup interface with device options.

  4. At the bottom of the screen, you will see two items labelled Lighting Channel 1 and Lighting Channel 2.  These are the two connectors on your Lighting Node Pro or Commander Pro labelled LED 1 and LED 2 that correspond to these.  Select the drop-down box next to the Lighting Channel you have your devices connected to, and switch them to either SP RGB Fans, HD RGB Fans, LL RGB fans, ML RGB fans or Lighting Strips.
  5. In the second drop-down box, select how many of each device is connected to your Lighting Controller.Lighting setup interface with fan and strip connections.

  6. To assign lighting to your fans/strips, you then must select the Lighting Channel you wish to control on the left.
  7. Click the + symbol to add a lighting effect.

After following these steps, you should be able to select and customize the lighting of your RGB fans.
