Corsair Limited Warranty

Overview
- Corsair provides a warranty starting from the day your purchase from an authorized Corsair reseller was delivered.
- Warranty periods vary by product. Check the product package, user documentation, or the list below. If you see different periods listed, the longest applies.
- Corsair warrants that the product will be free from defects in material and workmanship for the specified period.
- This warranty is limited to the original purchaser and is non-transferable, except where prohibited by applicable local law.
- Certified refurbished and Revival Series products have a 90-day warranty. In the EU, Switzerland, and the United Kingdom, the warranty period is two years by statute.
Warranty Terms
Terms Overview
If your Corsair product is not operating in accordance with its published technical specifications, it will be replaced at Corsair's expense.
Any replaced Corsair product will be warranted for the remainder of the original warranty period or 30 days, whichever is greater, or the period required by local statute. Products obtained from warranty exceptions have a 30-day warranty period.
If you have owned the product for over 60 days, Corsair will send a refurbished replacement. Refurbished replacements carry a warranty equal to the remaining time on the original purchase's warranty or 30 days, whichever is higher. Learn more about refurbished products.
Solid State Drives Limited Warranty Terms
Corsair SSDs are designed for consumer and client use cases such as PC desktops, laptops, notebooks, and ultrabooks. They should not be used in server environments or enterprise compute platforms, as such use rapidly exhausts SSD endurance.
Hydro X Series Limited Warranty Terms
The Corsair warranty does not cover hardware damage resulting from poorly executed, improper, or hasty assembly of a custom water-cooling system.
Disassembly of Corsair Hydro X products is highly discouraged due to complex component design. Such actions may result in irreparable mechanical, electrical, or chemical damage that may void the warranty.
Obsolete or Discontinued Products
An obsolete or discontinued product will be replaced by the same product if available. If unavailable, Corsair will replace it with a product of similar function and capacity.
Exclusions
This warranty does not cover problems or damage resulting from, but not limited to:
- Wear and tear from normal use
- Any modifications, abuse, accidents, misapplication, or unauthorized repair
- Any improper operations, including use not in accordance with supplied product instructions
- Connection to any improper voltage supplies
- Any other cause not related to a product defect in materials or workmanship
- Products damaged during crypto mining operations
Except where prohibited by applicable law, any implied warranty on Corsair hardware products is expressly disclaimed.
Counterfeit products are excluded from this warranty. Counterfeit products are any products that Corsair, at its sole discretion, determines were not manufactured by Corsair or any of its authorized manufacturing partners. Counterfeit products will be reported for investigation and will not be returned.
In the United States, the following Corsair products are only covered by Corsair's warranty if purchased from Corsair.com or a Corsair-authorized reseller: DRAM, SSD, gaming chairs, headsets, keyboards, mice, mousepads, peripheral accessories, and Elgato-branded products. Corsair's warranty will not apply if any of the above are purchased from an unauthorized reseller.
Limitation of Liability
Except where prohibited by applicable law, Corsair shall not be liable for any special, incidental, indirect, or consequential damages, including but not limited to loss of profits, revenue, or data (whether direct or indirect), or commercial loss from breach of any express or implied warranty.
Data Recovery
Corsair recommends you back up all data and remove all confidential, proprietary, and personal information before returning a storage product. Corsair is not responsible for backing up or recovering any data lost when using Corsair storage devices.
When a storage device is returned, Corsair performs a low-level erasure of media at a secure facility. If erasure is not possible, the storage hardware is destroyed. Corsair employees will not check if data recovery is possible.

European Union Exceptions
- In the European Union, the minimum warranty period provided by resellers is 2 years. Local country regulations are applicable.
A Note for Canadian Consumers in Québec
Disclosure Regarding Availability of Spare Parts, Repair Services, and Maintenance Information
Corsair Memory, Inc. ("Corsair") provides this statement to meet the disclosure obligations of Quebec's Consumer Protection Act, as amended by Bill 29 (2023, chapter 21), for products offered in Quebec.
| Spare Parts | Corsair does not guarantee the ongoing availability of spare parts. Some parts may be made available at Corsair's discretion during the warranty period and subject to availability. Corsair does not supply parts directly to consumers and does not support self-installation of internal components. No spare parts are offered outside of the warranty service process. |

All Corsair products are covered by Corsair's standard limited warranty as set out in this warranty document.
Installation: All repairs, including replacement of internal components, are performed exclusively by Corsair or its authorized service provider during the warranty period. Customers should not attempt to disassemble or repair products on their own, as doing so may result in safety risks and void the warranty.

Cross-Country Warranty Addendum
Corsair matches warranty support for hardware products to the service options available for the country from which Corsair or its Authorized Distributors originally sold the product.
- Corsair's limited warranty service covers the product with the level of service offered in the country from which it was originally sold.
- Warranty service will be limited to the options available in the country where service is requested.
- A product purchased in country "A" and later moved to country "B" receives the warranty coverage Corsair provides in country "B", only if that product is currently marketed or sold by an authorized retailer in country "B".
- If the product is not sold in the country to which you moved it, Corsair will make a best effort to assist you.
Warranty Support for Products NOT for Sale in Your Country
- Contact Corsair customer care at https://help.corsair.com for diagnostic services.
- If a hardware replacement is required, you are responsible for the cost of international return shipping to the nearest Corsair warehouse, as well as shipping of the replacement to you.
- You are responsible for compliance with all applicable import/export laws, customs duties, V.A.T., and other taxes and charges.
If you plan to return to the country where you purchased the product, Corsair recommends waiting until then to ship it back. You remain responsible for return shipping, but Corsair will ship the replacement to you in-country at no charge.
Warranty Support for Products Available in Your Country
- Contact Corsair customer care at https://help.corsair.com for diagnostic services.
- If a hardware replacement is required, Corsair will make a best effort to assist you in obtaining the replacement from an authorized Corsair retailer or distributor in your country.
- If an in-country replacement is unavailable, you are responsible for the cost of international return shipping to the nearest Corsair warehouse and shipping of the replacement to you.
- You are responsible for compliance with all applicable import/export laws, customs duties, V.A.T., and other taxes and charges.
