What is a Corsair certified refurbished product?

A Corsair certified refurbished product can be one of the following: 

• A product returned by a customer 
• A product that has incurred minor cosmetic damage during handling 

Regardless of what type of refurbished product it is, all certified refurbished products go through testing to ensure they still function optimally and have up-to-date warranty protection. 

NOTE:  

• Not all returned products have been used by their previous buyers. Regardless of whether products were used, all still go through our testing process. 

What is the difference between a Corsair certified refurbished product and a Corsair Revival Series product?

A Corsair certified refurbished product is different than a Revival Series product. Revival Series products go through a different testing process and do not come with accessories like a certified refurbished product. 

Our certified refurbished and Revival Series products both deliver exceptional performance through meticulous refurbishment. How does the refurbishing process work?

When we receive a returned product, we first put it through testing to make sure the product works optimally. We will replace any parts that need replacing, update the firmware if necessary, then put it through one final QA process before we repackage it.

What is the availability of certified refurbished products?

Due to the popularity of refurbished products and the amount of money saved when purchasing one over a completely new product, refurbished products have a limited quantity and often go out of stock quickly.

We update our inventory regularly, so check back often to see what new refurbished products are available.

Amazon Renewed showcases refurbished, rebuilt and previously owned items tested and certified to work and look like new by a qualified technician or a specialized third-party refurbisher not by Corsair. Due to this, Renewed products are treated as refurbished units and follow the same refurbished guidelines in Corsair's warranty.

What is the warranty period for a certified refurbished product?

Certified refurbished products given as a warranty replacement either have a warranty period equal to the remaining time on the original purchaser’s warranty or 30 days, whichever is higher.

Corsair Certified Refurbished or Revival Series products bought as a standalone purchase come with a 90-day warranty. In the EU, Switzerland, and the United Kingdom, the warranty period is two years by statute.

Do certified refurbished and Corsair Revival series products include everything that normally comes with a new purchase?

If you receive a Corsair Certified Refurbished product, it will include everything that you would normally get for the item to function as if you had bought a new product. Refurbished items do not come in original packaging and may not include paper manuals.  If you receive a refurbished product that's missing a component, contact Customer Support.

If you purchase a Revival Series product, it may not include certain accessories. Examples of items that could be missing include, but are not limited to, USB dongles, cables, palm rests, keycaps, and keycap pullers.
