What exactly is SLIPSTREAM Multipoint?
SLIPSTREAM Multipoint allows you to connect your compatible wireless Corsair devices together through one SLIPSTREAM wireless receiver.
There are two combination types for pairings:
- 2:1 pairing: Keyboard + Mouse, Keyboard + Headset, Headset + Mouse
- 3:1 pairing: Keyboard + Mouse + Headset

What combination of devices can I use?
When connecting devices using SLIPSTREAM Multipoint, you cannot pair two of the same types of devices together. You must use one of the following pairing combinations:
- Keyboard + Mouse
- Keyboard + Headset
- Headset + Mouse
- Keyboard + Mouse + Headset
In addition, if your combination includes a headset, you MUST use the headset's SLIPSTREAM wireless receiver to connect your devices.
Are there any drawbacks to using SLIPSTREAM Multipoint?
When using 2:1 pairing, polling rates supported will be no less than 1ms when using the multi-device pairing.
When using 3:1 pairing, polling rates will be slightly higher than 1ms, but our internal testing showed no noticeable effect on mice and keyboards, even with a headset SLIPSTREAM wireless receiver driving all three devices simultaneously.
How do I enable SLIPSTREAM pairing?
To enable SLIPSTREAM pairing, you will need to connect each of your devices with a USB cable and then connect the SLIPSTREAM USB wireless receiver that you want to use in the pairing process.
Our setup wizard that is built into the iCUE user interface will help guide you through the process of updating to the latest firmware that supports SLIPSTREAM Multipoint and connecting your devices to a single wireless receiver.
If all of your devices are on the latest firmware, the pairing process should only take about a minute. We recommend that you always keep your devices updated to the latest firmware for the most optimal experience.
Do I need to prepare anything prior to flashing the devices?
For optimal performance, do NOT use any hubs to flash your device during this process. Instead, use either the front USB ports of your PC case or connect all of your devices to the rear USB ports on your motherboard. This will ensure a clean installation of firmware without hubs interfering with the process.
We also recommend closing any third-party software (e.g. Gigabyte RGB Fusion, MSI Dragon Center, ASUS Armoury Crate, etc.) prior to starting the setup wizard.
Can I undo SLIPSTREAM Multipoint support?
Yes, you can enable PlayStation mode by selecting your headset's SLIPSTREAM wireless receiver in iCUE and going into the Device Settings. Enabling PlayStation mode will put the wireless receiver in a 1:1 pairing; switching from 3:1 firmware to 1:1 firmware will not change the performance of your device.
Note: if you wish to undo multipoint across all of your devices, you will need to enable 1:1 pairing for each device individually.
What is PlayStation mode?
Currently, PlayStation consoles such as the PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5 do not support Multipoint device connections. PlayStation mode allows you to connect your SLIPSTREAM-compatible devices such as headsets to your PlayStation console and use them.
When PlayStation mode is enabled, your mice and/or keyboards will disconnect from your headset's SLIPSTREAM wireless receiver. However, you can still connect and use those devices via USB cable.
Will my SLIPSTREAM Multipoint devices reconnect after I disable PlayStation mode?
Yes, all of your SLIPSTREAM Multipoint devices will reconnect once you select your wireless receiver in ICUE and select Multipoint in the Device Settings.
What do I do with extra SLIPSTREAM wireless receivers I'm currently not using?
When you are not using a SLIPSTREAM wireless receiver, you should keep the receiver in a safe place in case you want to revert to 1:1 or if you lose your active SLIPSTREAM wireless receiver.
Can I pair all of my devices to more than one SLIPSTREAM wireless receiver?
No, you cannot pair all of your devices to more than one SLIPSTREAM wireless receiver. Only one wireless receiver can ever be used with 2:1 or 3:1 pairings.
This is because we pair the devices uniquely to the specific wireless receiver for security and encryption purposes.
How do I begin using SLIPSTREAM Multipoint?
We have a help article that walks you through how to pair your devices with your SLIPSTREAM wireless receiver. You can find the article by clicking this link.
How do I recover my devices if the pairing setup wizard gets stuck at 75%?
If the setup wizard is stuck at 75% and will not progress:
- Close and exit iCUE.
- Restart iCUE.
- Select your SLIPSTREAM wireless receiver in the iCUE home screen.
- Click Connections.
- Click Pair on the bottom left.
If you follow the steps above and the devices still do not pair, begin the setup wizard again.
