iCUE:How to set up hardware lighting in iCUE
If you want your device to have lighting effects saved to the onboard memory that can run without iCUE, you can utilize lighting effects via Device Memory Mode.
What is device memory mode?
Device memory mode in iCUE allows products to operate in a 'hardware state' without needing iCUE running in the background. Previously, exiting iCUE was necessary to activate the hardware state. This mode supports configurations like 'Hardware Lighting' for Fans and Coolers, and key assignments for mice and keyboards. Now, you can customize and immediately see changes on your devices in real-time, streamlining the configuration and saving process.
NOTE: The number of onboard memory slots available will vary by device.
