I Can't Complete My Purchase Due To An Address Character Limit. What Do I Do?
Summary
Corsair partners with various shipping carriers, which have limitations and requirements regarding what can be added to an order's address information. We have a popup warning during our checkout process to ensure that our orders comply with their shipping requirements. Below are a few changes you can make to ensure your order is processed.
Steps To Take
- Limit the character count for Address Line 1 and Address Line 2 to 30 characters each, including spaces.
- It’s acceptable to split your address between Lines 1 and 2; the carrier will process this without issue. Line 2 is primarily used for Apartment numbers, etc., but our system allows the remainder of the address to be placed here.
- Abbreviate commonly used street affixes for your order. USPS maintains an accurate, updated list of these abbreviations that all other carriers adhere to. You can find that information here: USPS Street Suffix Abbreviations.
- Do not include the City, State, Zip/Postal Code, Prefecture, or Country in Address Line 1 or 2 locations. This information has its own dedicated space during the checkout process.
If the instructions do not reduce your total address to below 60 characters, please get in touch with us via our Contact Us page. A support associate will help review additional steps we can perform to validate an address that our carriers will accept.
