Audio: How to Update your headset's firmware
If you just purchased your headset, we recommend updating your firmware before using it to ensure you have the most up-to-date features. It is good practice to keep your headset up to date and running smoothly with the following steps in iCUE:
- Connect your headset to an available USB port on your computer.
- If you have a wireless headset, you will also need to connect your wireless dongle to an available USB port on your computer.
- Install and open iCUE (www.corsair.com/downloads). Click on the “Settings” gear icon, found in the menu bar at the top right of the window.
- Click on your headset and click "Check for Updates". iCUE will detect whether your headset is up-to-date and apply the firmware update as necessary.
Note: It can take a few minutes to complete the firmware update, please leave the headset connected. - If you have a wireless headset, you'll want to check for a firmware update for your wireless dongle, too. Click on the wireless dongle and click "Check for Updates". iCUE will detect whether your headset is up-to-date and apply the firmware update as necessary.
- Once your firmware update is completed, your headset will reconnect, and you can then enjoy using your headset.
