How To Switch the Left and Right Click on a Corsair Mouse
While there is a simple solution within the Windows Operating System's mouse settings to switch the primary mouse button, some users might want to apply the button switch to the mouse directly to use these settings independent of Windows.
How To Change the Primary Mouse Button in Windows
- Open Settings -> Bluetooth & Devices -> Mouse.
- Change the Primary Mouse button from left to right.
How To Change the Mouse Buttons within iCUE
Please note: If you intend to save these settings directly onto the mouse so that you can use them without ICUE, please switch to Device Memory Mode before applying these Settings.
- Open ICUE and select your Corsair Mouse from the Home Tab.
- Select the Key Assignments tab.
- Note: The left-click reassignment is locked by default.
- This safety feature keeps the mouse functional while the buttons are reassigned.
- If the left click is reassigned without an alternative left click, the mouse will become unusable.
- First, reassign the left-click function to a different button.
- Create a new assignment using the yellow plus button.
- Select "Mouse" as the Assignment Type.
- Select "Right Click" or any other appropriate mouse button as the "Key."
- Select "Left Click" from the mouse illustration.
- Once this key assignment has been saved, the Left Click will unlock and can be reassigned.
- Create a new Key assignment.
- Apply the instructions from the previous step, but switch the left and right clicks.
- Minimize ICUE and use the mouse.
- If you used Device Memory Mode, save the settings to the mouse and fully close ICUE.
