What is the difference between the regular Dark Core and the Dark Core SE?

The Dark Core SE has Qi charging, while the regular Dark Core does not.

 

Can I charge my Dark Core SE if I don’t have a Qi mat?

Yes, the Dark Core SE can still be charged using the micro USB to run the mouse as a wired mouse. This also lets you charge the Dark Core SE without a Qi mat.

 

Can I pair this mouse with multiple devices?

You can pair the Dark Core with two devices at a time. You can connect to one device via Bluetooth and another device with the wireless dongle.

 

How do I create and save hardware profiles in iCUE?

To create and save hardware profiles for your Dark Core RGB or Dark Core RGB SE in iCUE:

  1. Make sure your Dark Core RGB SE mouse is plugged into your PC system.
  2. Open iCUE.
  3. Click the + in the PROFILES tab.
  4. Set your desired lighting effects and key bindings.

 

How do I set up surface calibration for my mouse?

To set up surface calibration, first make sure that you have iCUE installed and that your mouse is plugged into your PC.

  1. Open iCUE.
  2. In the DEVICES section, select your mouse.
  3. Click SURFACE CALIBRATION on the left menu.
  4. Click and drag the circle icon in a spiral motion until the progress bar reaches 100%.
    • Make sure that the speedometer stays within the green zone.

 

Do the Dark Core RGB and Dark Core RGB SE support lighting link?

No, the Dark Core RGB and the Dark Core RGB SE mouse do not support lighting link.
