How to: Enable Mic Boost in iCUE

You can use the Mic Boost feature to increase the gain of your headset microphone. This feature can be used with all iCUE compatible headsets.

To enable Mic Boost, make sure that:

  • iCUE is updated to version 4.23 or later
  • Your headset is being detected by iCUE

After making sure of the above:

  1. Select your headset in iCUE.
  2. Click Device Settings.
  3. Use the slider next to Mic Boost to increase or decrease the mic boost.
    • You can increase the mic boost up to 10dB by moving the slider all the way to the right, while moving the slider all the way to the left will disable mic boost.
