How to: Fix the NVIDIA high-definition output device driver

If you are experiencing issues with the NVIDIA high-definition output device driver after updating it, you can try rolling back to a previous version of the driver to see if it resolves the issue.

To roll back a driver:

  1. Go to your system's Device Manager.

  2. Click Sound, video and game controllers.
  3. Right-click Realtek High Definition Audio and click Properties.
  4. Click the Driver tab.
  5. Click Roll Back Driver.
