Headset Charging:
How to Charge
Wireless Corsair headsets charge via the included micro-USB or USB-C cable. If you're using a USB port on a computer to charge, make sure the port is powered.
Status LED
While plugged in, a battery status LED will turn on next to the USB port. If the headset power is off, amber indicates charging and green indicates a full charge. If the headset power is on, amber indicates a charge of 1-89%, while green indicates 90-100%.
Not seeing the green LED during charging while powered off? Don't worry, this doesn't indicate a fault with your headset. We opted for a simpler charge detection feature to reduce the cost passed on to our customers, so sometimes the indicator will show an amber "charging" status even when fully charged. If you are finding that the battery isn't lasting as long as expected, please let our support team know.
The Status LED indicator meanings can be found on our CORSAIR:EXPLORER page by searching your product and referencing the Quick Start Guide.
Battery Life Issues:
If you are having issues with the battery life of the headset we would first recommend disabling the RGB Effects on the headset(If Applicable) and lowering the volume if you are listening to high intensity or high bass movies, games or music.
You can also use Bluetooth(If applicable) on your headset to increase battery life as well.
Battery Best Practices:
-
Fully charge a new headset before use
-
It is not necessary to fully drain the battery
-
Disconnect the cable when charging is complete
-
Avoid long periods in a discharged state
-
Avoid storing headsets in extreme temperatures
